Don Vaccaro

CEO & Founder

Mr. Vaccaro is a seasoned veteran of creating job opportunities by expanding and creating industries. In addition to his involvement with Connecticut Biotech, Don leads a conglomerate of various businesses ranging from secondary ticket markets to capitalizing distressed real estate. His philanthropic endeavors include support for minority business owners, an animal sanctuary and help with distressed youth.

Rama Arumalla


Rama brings over a decade of engineering and business intelligence pedigree to Connecticut Biotech. He has managed teams of individuals in a variety of technology stacks successfully. Most recently, Rama worked with TicketNetwork as Vice President of Business Intelligence. He has a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Massachusetts – Amherst.

Christopher Hummer


Chris directs the financial and accounting functions at Connecticut Biotech. He is responsible for financial reporting, the generation of an annual budget and forecast, working directly with operations to advise of the financial impact of decisions being made and maintaining relations with auditing firms and financial consultants. Chris began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche and served many clients including public and private companies in a wide range of industries. Chris left Deloitte after eight years as a senior manager. Chris is a CPA with a B.S. and Masters in Accounting from University of Connecticut.

Bruce Morris


Bruce served twelve years in the Connecticut House of Representatives in numerous leadership positions. He retired as Deputy Speaker and was Chairman of the Black and Puerto Rican Legislative Caucus. Bruce is well versed in all aspects of business operations, as the founder of several construction related companies, one which became the largest minority owned in Connecticut. Further, as Director of Human Relations for a large urban school district, he brings eighteen years government sector experience, building coalitions, empowering customers and mediating conflict between agency and citizens.
